Vegan Pesto 05/13/2008
 

1 C Basil, tightly packed
¼ C  pine nuts
¼ to ½ C Olive oil
2 Tbl Lemon juice, fresh squeezed
2-3 cloves Garlic, minced
½ tsp Sea salt, or to taste
Pinch Cayenne pepper
Black pepper, ground to taste

Directions:


Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth.

Use as a topping for Pesto Pizza!  You can top with sliced roma tomatoes, mushrooms, black olives or whatever sounds good on that particular day!
